Its been a while since I posted any picture of my kitty. Element is almost 3 now, how'd she grow up so quickly ?

I love my camera. The only thing I am disappointed with is, the amount of noise in any image over ISO 400. There is an easy fix in Lightroom 4. I am in need of CS6 and Lightroom 4.

Staci & Alex

On November 10th 2012, my cousin Staci got married! I was not the photographer there, but I wanted to take some pictures for my self and my family. ( also, wanted to snag any shots their photographer may have missed!) I love how the images turned out! some of them have a bit of harsh lighting as my flash died and I had to use my pop up. None the less the images turned out awesome! Here are some of my favorites!!! :)

My Animals

I love animals, especially photographing them. Their expressions are just as awesome and dynamic as humans. Majority of the time they are easier to pose, and are willing to co-operate as long as there are treats as rewards!

I got my new camera finally. I think I just may be in love with it. Its the Canon 7D, I also got a new lens to add to the collection. Its the 18-135mm :) plus the nifty 50mm and the 55-250mm.  its a happy little family :) 

SO I decided that I wanted to do a photo shoot, but had no models. I had already taken so many images of my animals, so I decided that I would take some self portraits. Bare with me. I'm still getting used to it, and all the settings. they differ a tiny bit from my old camera, and are more similar to the 5D. 

Lighting : natural window light with added silver reflector. 

Background :  A quilt.     

Simple :)

Its been a while since i've actually gotten my camera out and taken some nice images of my face with it.

inspiration and drive have almost slipped through my fingers. i think i managed to hang on long enough to give it a try again

Family Time

This past Friday to Monday I spent in Brampton Ontario, with some awesome family. In first year of college my cousin Kayla asked me to do a maternity shoot for her, the results were Beautiful!!!!! She had her baby while I was still away at school, so I didn't get to meet her after she was born. 

I FINALLY GOT TO MEET THE BEAUTIFUL KEIRA!!! :) such a charmer! 

congrats Kayla, you have an amazing little girl!! :) 

I really enjoyed the time I got to spend with my family I rarely get to see.
