don't forget me

When I meet someone. I want to be remembered. I don't want to be forgotten the next day.

Faces fade into the background, everything is a blur.

I think being forgotten is one of the worst things ever.

never forget, and never regret.
learn and keep living.

Canon 5D Mark II

I got the awesome opportunity to use the Canon 5D Mark II for the weekend.
I am so excited I can't even contain it. The level of sharpness with this camera is INCREDIBLE.  I am also lucky enough to be able to use the Canon 50mm f/1.8, and the 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
This weekend is going to be awesome for shooting purposes!

Eventually I plan on being able to afford such a beautiful camera ( except by then there will be an even better one out )

Every Photograph has a story.

A while ago I was asked by someone, "what made you want to be a photographer?" and I thought hard and said, "It was when i was a bit younger,  I always loved to look through photo albums with my mom and grandma.  I loved to hear the stories that they told about every picture.  I want to capture moments in time, I want to be able to look back and be able to tell a story for every photograph.  I want to capture people in that very moment and leave people thinking, what was that picture saying?"

I want to create images that inspire, that tell stories and that create emotion for the viewer.

This image is my cousin building Lego.  He's such an intelligent kid.  He's determined and stubborn.  He will do every thing he can to be the best that he can be.  He's an inspiration to me.  Always will be.

This is G-reg.
He is my Room mate.

So this is my First time Blogging EVER.  So please bare with me.

Today was the first day back to College, the beginning of second year! I was excited this morning to get back into the pace of working on a daily basis; shooting, editing, printing, scanning, etc. First class went by almost too fast to comprehend.  Looking back into the first years class room brought back so many memories. I can just remember how I felt the first day, excited and nervous, with a hint of hang over?

I can't wait for the rest of the year to unfold.
This picture is one from this summer.
I wanted to really try to develop my style of Portraits.
This was my Favorite.
